One of Alana’s favorite theater experiences ever was playing Charlotte in the Echo’s 2010 production of Everything Will Be Different by Mark Schultz. Also with the Echo: I Know Who You Are (One Acts 2009) and Hartshorne (One Acts 2006). Other Los Angeles Stage: Lascivious Something (Circle X), Shake, Nibbler (Theatre of NOTE), Doomsday Kiss! Amanda has appeared in film, television and many national commercials. Amanda is a graduate of Princeton University and received her MFA in Acting from American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
Originally from Worcester, Massachusetts Amie moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from the University of Vermont with a Theatre degree. During college she studied briefly at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland. Over the years she has produced, directed and acted in numerous productions including, Getting Out, The Marriage of Bette and Boo and Little Shop of Horrors. She has also produced a number of short films and one feature. Television/Film credits include "Grey's Anatomy", "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody","Trust Me", Weather Girl, Silverlake Video and NOG. Amie has studied at The Groundlings, The ACME Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade and makes a mean margarita. She couldn't be more thrilled about joining the amazingly talented Echo Theater Company.

DAVID GIUNTOLI is a mid-westerner, through and through. This St. Louis native is the product of a Dead Poets' Society-esque all boys high school, and majored in International Business and Finance at Indiana University in Bloomington. While frequenting his local watering hole, Dave was selected to join the cast of MTV's "Road Rules: South Pacific" where he ventured to the far reaches of Fiji, Tahiti and New Zealand. Dave settled down to Los Angeles where he most recently booked a recurring role on "Veronica Mars" for the CW and a guest star "Ghost Whisperer" for CBS.

was birthed in Los Angeles. He made his stage debut with the Echo in Padraic Duffy's Something Is Hidden Inside the Couch, where his hands did very funny things. He is also proud to have worked with Critical Mass Performance Group on a number of workshops for Apollo, as well as their production of Suzan-Lori Parks' 365 Days/ 365 Plays. When he is not acting, he is working behind the camera on a documentary called Metropolis In the Making, about the growth of Los Angeles and the impact on it's history, as is examined through the demolition of the Ambassador Hotel. He is also a writer. He recently finished co-writing and starring in his first short film, Hollywood Bourbon. If Jeremy wasn't pursuing a career in film and theater, he would be a homeless man chasing squirrels in a park.

Since moving to LA in 2007, Josh has been studying improv and sketch comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings. Prior to that, he studied real acting at the American Repertory Theatre and silly acting with the Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University. Favorite roles with the former include Skippy in The Marriage of Bette & Boo, Jamie in The Last Five Years, and Newton in The Physicists. Favorite roles with the latter include Paula Izecaps and Old Speller, a female Ekimo and a pink poodle respectively. Josh dabbles in writing as well and is lucky to have his more talented brother as his writing partner.
Kim moved from New York to Los Angeles almost 4 years ago, and is so excited to be a member of the Echo. Kim has appeared in 5 films for director Spike Lee: Inside Man (as Stevie the bank robber), She Hate Me, Bamboozled, Summer of Sam, and He Got Game. Some other films include Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows, A Crime (with Harvey Keitel), Live Free Or Die, Tony ‘N Tina’s Wedding. Kim had a recurring role as the Cavewoman in the short lived series "Cavemen" and has guest starred on the shows "Cold Case", "Life", "CSI: Miami", "Shark", "Law & Order", "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", "Sex and the City". Theater includes Guinea Pig Solo with LAByrinth Theater Company at The Public Theater (NY) and the musicals Company at The Kennedy Center and Avenue X at Pittsburgh City Theater. Kim graduated with a BFA in Drama/Musical Theater from Carnegie Mellon University.
is a veteran of the LA sketch comedy and improv scene, where she's performed long-form improv at the Groundlings, IOWest, UCB etc.. Last fall, she premiered on the LA stage in the Echo’s production of Anon by Kate Robin. On television, she plays Lady, The Janitor’s girlfriend on “Scrubs”, among other appearances in TV shows and commercials. She can be heard weekly on the improv podcast TheExpertologists.com, or in various venues around town blissfully playing light rock hits in the duo, The Artists (with Jean Villepique). She thanks her lucky star to have found the Echo and all the stars within.
Born and raised in Vermont, Kristina is a graduate of The Buxton School and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. She began work as an actress primarily developing new plays, originating roles in work by Paula Vogel, Joan Ackerman, David Mamet and others. She continues to work in theater, film, and television. Kristina helped develop and taught ActOut for two cycles with fellow Echo member Steve O'Connor. In 2006, Kristina was awarded a grant and fellowship with the American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women. Her first film, Cough Drop, which she wrote and directed, was chosen to premiere at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.
Liz began her stage work in various productions with the Virginia Stage company and the Governor's school of the Arts. She headed to work with Bread and Puppet Theater company, stilt walking and performing dance and puppetry, immediately after receiving training at the University of Rome and afterwards Carnegie Mellon University. In Los Angeles, she has trained with Jamie Rose Studios and the Groundlings. Liz has also appeared in the Seth and Avi Show, Box of Shadows, Immune, Fixed Income, Missionary Positions, performed live hosting for MSNBC, and can be found singing jazz in smoky clubs around the city.
Loreni is originally from Panama, grew up in Miami, had a ten year layover in New York City and finally made her way to Los Angeles. After getting her Psychology and Writing degrees from NYU, she took to the stage performing at The Nuyorican Poets Café, Repertorio Espanol, Theater 22 and many others. Her latest TV credits include "Lost", "The King of Queens", "House", "The Riches" and "Standoff". Loreni is also a Voice Over artist. Some of her latest campaigns include Denny's, Purina, IKEA, Verizon Wireless, H&R Block and a narration for the ABC special "The Beauty of Ugly Betty". Although Loreni never did anything with her expensive Psychology degree, her Writing degree has been useful in her storytelling. She has written several one act plays and short films, one of which is currently in post-production.

His NY & L.A. theater credits include Edmond, Light Up The Sky, Hurlyburly, Burn This and The Shape of Things. His TV credits include the pilot “Martian Law”, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, “Angel” and “Friends”. His film credits include Bullet, Four Faces of God, Spin Cycle and Marcus. Actor/Musician Nathan Wetherington made his off Broadway debut in 1998 as a Blue Man with the underground smash sensation, Blue Man Group. Soon after that he began appearing in guest starring roles on numerous television shows that include: "Law & Order", "Law & Order: SVU", "CSI", "Monday Night Mayhem", "Gilmore Girls". Looking for more, he took six years away from his love of acting to pursue his interests in music. In record time he quickly became one of the top session drummers in LA. To date he has worked with and made records with artists that include: Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, The Dixie Chicks, Linda Perry, Courtney Love, Daniel Powter, Sierra Swan, Vanessa Carlton, Skin, Karimah Francis, and Sten Bowen - just to name a few. Nathan returned to acting in 2008 with a starring role in Tony Barbieri's third feature film, EM, which has to date won the grand jury prize for best film at SIFF, SFIFF, Brooklyn International Film Festival, overseas at the Strasbourg International Film Festival in France, as well as also having won the Criterion Collection/Wallflower Press International Inspiration Award. In 2009 he returned to acting full time and will soon be appearing in several TBR feature films including Mark Ruffalo's directorial debut, Sympathy For Delicious. He is also the author of, Heartbreaker: A Play in Two Acts. He looks forward to making his Los Angeles theater debut as a member of The Echo.

grew up in Puyallup, Washington. A graduate of the Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. His resume consists of numerous commercials and many Off and way way Off Broadway productions. Further highlights include playing Sam Crane in the H.A.D.L.E.Y Players of New York's production of Killing Sam, a play loosely based on the mysterious death of soul singer Sam Cooke (his favorite musician), in which he got to sing three original Sam Cooke songs. Last January he landed his first supporting role in the indie film 666: The Beginning of the End, by Joaquin Rodriguez.

From New York to Los Angeles, Rena Strober has been praised for her Broadway performances, tv roles and her 1-woman show Spaghetti & Matzo Balls! She has also received rave reviews for her album Finding Home.
Rena appeared on Broadway as Cosette in Les Miserables, and most recently starred opposite Betty Buckley, Peter Scolari & Tuc Watkins in the Off-Broadway comedy White’s Lies. Her 1-woman show, Spaghetti & Matzo Balls!, has run Off-Broadway, in Los Angeles and in Leeds, England to enlightened and entertained, sold out houses. From 2009-2010 Rena toured the country with Fiddler on the Roof as Tzeitel playing opposite Topol, Harvey Fierstein & Theo Bikel. Rena originated the role of Tonya in the pre-Broadway production of Zhivago (Directed by Des McNuff) at the La Jolla Playhouse for which she was awarded the Outer Critics Circle Award.
Some of Rena's proudest moments are singing at home plate at Shea Stadium and belting out the National Anthem on the dais for the infamous Friar's Roasts. Rena is one of the youngest members of the NY Friar’s Club.
Most recently, you can see Rena on TV as part of the National Playtex Bra campaign and on the children's DVD series 'Your Baby Can Learn'. Her voice is also heard in the upcoming Harold & Kumar movie (released Christmas '11) and on 3rd & Bird, a new Disney cartoon.
Rena is currently living & working in Los Angeles where she is focusing on her voice-over, film & TV career.
Although born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Riel grew up on the island of St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands from the age of three until he graduated high school. Ever since the fourth grade, when he played Anansi in the West Indian play "Anansi the Spider Man", he knew he would one day have to live in the beautiful city of Los Angeles. After attending Bard College in upstate New York he fulfilled his dream of living in Los Angeles and has been here ever since. He has worked on many different independent films, two of which he acted in with fellow company members Lucas Fleischer and Aaron Moody entitled "The Fourth" and "Waterfall". He first had the privilege to work with The Echo in their production of "Uncle Vanya" and is currently working on a one man show entitled "Ghost Dancer".
A professional actor for the past 30 years, Bob has worked regionally, Off Broadway, and in Film and Television. Stage: Greater Tuna, Tintypes, and Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center and both Tug of War and The Wasps at the Getty Villa. Television: "Rules of Engagement", "Lie to Me", "The West Wing", "Friends", "CSI: Miami", "Murphy Brown", "General Hospital", and "Malcolm in the Middle". Film: Heartbreakers, When Harry met Sally, In the Line of Fire, and Outbreak, among others. An avid sculptor, Bob originally learned mask-making from Julie Taymor in New York and over the years has gone on to create puppets and masks for both TV and the theater. In 2001 he was thrilled to travel to Prague to study marionette carving. His play with masks Stories of the Season was a critical hit in Los Angeles in 1992 and has been performed in Regional Theaters across the country. In 2003 he created 55 puppets and masks for his second play with writing partner Rob Harrison, In the Valley of the Mist, presented with the Virginia Avenue Project in L.A. He lives with his wife Terry, (also an artist) in the valley with their three dogs Lucy, Agnes and Max.

God's Ear marks Rory's first full production with the Echo, where he has directed several public readings. Rory grew up in Los Angeles, where he worked as a child actor. He later studied acting at the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, and proceeded to work in local Equity theatre, including Salt Lake Acting Company, Salt Lake Shakespeare, and Sundance Children's Theatre. He then received his MFA from the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre School Institute at Harvard, where he performed in several productions, including an international tour of Phaedra 4:48, directed by Robert Woodruff. He has directed plays for theaters in Utah, Cambridge, and Los Angeles. Rory is also a screenwriter - he is developing a one-hour historical TV drama called "Blood Money", and his spec script for "Mad Men" was a finalist in the 2011 Slamdance Screenwriting Competition.
Longtime friend of the Echo, Sarah Jane Morris joins the group this year and can't wait to do her first production. In the meantime, Sarah is busy playing Julia Walker on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" created by playwright Jon Robin Baitz. This current gig follows recurring arcs on NBC's "Windfall", "Felicity" and "Boston Public" as well as many guest stints on shows such as "Cold Case", "Ed", "Dark Angel" and Judd Apatow's "Undeclared". Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Sarah graduated from SMU and headed to Los Angeles shortly after to start her acting career.
After graduating high school from Interlochen Arts Academy, Sarah traveled to Glasgow, Scotland where she received a BA(Hons) from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with a degree in Contemporary Theatre Practice. She devised and directed collaborative theatre productions such as Make a Spectacle of Yourself, High Heels on Wet Pavement or What You Expected to See, Sorry No Lions, and Going Nowhere Quicker Than I Was Before. She worked for the Scottish Opera’s Education for All program where she traveled through Scottish towns doing opera for and with kids in shows such as Fever!, Slim McBride and the Lost Tribe, The Scootcher Tree, and the Create an Opera program. She now lives in Los Angeles where she is working as a behavioral and social skills therapist with children on the autistic spectrum.
has diverse international theatrical experience and has won the best actress award twice at the Chicago International Theater Festival. Locally she has performed at the Old Globe, Group Rep, LA Theater Works and Wallenboyd. Some of her favorite acting teachers have been Scott Kelman, Jeff Corey, Stella Adler, Larry Moss, and Ed K. Martin. Sigute is also a vocalist and has performed at international music festivals and LA cabaret/clubs. Having taken time off to rear her rambunctious eleven year old, Lana, and garner numerous medals in the US Masters Swimming Championships, Sigute recently returned to the theatre in the Echo's production of Kate Robin's ANON. She is proud to be a member of this fine company.
Tara Karsian has guest starred on such television shows as: "In Plain Sight", "Prison Break", "The Mentalist", "Entourage", "Saving Grace", "The New Adventures of Old Christine", "Bones", "Lovesprings International", "Without a Trace", "CSI", "Desperate Housewives, "Malcolm in the Middle", "Six Feet Under", "NYPD Blue", "Everybody Loves Raymond" among others. For the last 4 years of "E.R"., she played the hospital’s social worker, Liz Dade. Her film roles include: Terri (2011 Sundance Premiere), The Number 23, Envy, Ready Ok? (alongside fellow company member Carrie Preston) and Single White Female. Tara is Associate Artistic Director and an acting member of the Echo, for which she appeared in the world premiere of Pigs and Bugs and the West Coast premiere of Anon. She has, also performed and directed in the ECHO’s last two One-act festivals and was a producer for Everything Will Be Different. She has proudly has taught for ACT OUT, the ECHO’s theater outreach program for incarcerated youth.
Thomas Beatty writes, directs and occasionally acts in plays and films. He studied playwriting at Brown with Paula Vogel and Oscar Eustis and is now writing screenplays with poop jokes. One time he won that one award and he is in development on that other thing with that important sounding company. He has blue eyes.

grew up in Caratunk, Maine. He discovered acting at the oldest summer theater in the country, Lakewood Theater in Madison, Maine. He has acted, and continues to act there every summer season. Most recently Wallace seen at Lakewood theater as the knavish spirit, Puck in Ken Ludwig's farce Shakespear in Hollywood. Wallace is a proud Alum of American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he received his B.F.A in acting. His undergraduate credits include Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gint, William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing and Lanford Willson's Balm in Gilead. His New York Credits include Albert Camus' Caligula.
