Ann Noble
Ann Noble is an award-winning actor who first performed with Echo in Poor Clare. Ann is also a director, playwright/new media writer, teacher, and private coach with over twenty-five years of professional experience in the arts. Originally from Chicago, she was classically trained at Northwestern University and at the British American Drama Academy via Yale School of Drama, and co-founded the Irish Theatre of Chicago (formally Seanachai). Her award-winning plays have been produced all over the world (including NYC, Chicago, LA, Australia, Serbia), and she has performed all over the country both on stage and on screen. Her main Southern California theatre credits include work with South Coast Rep, Antaeus (member), Rogue Machine (member), Moving Arts, LGBT Center, Odyssey, Road, Victory, Neo, ICT of Long Beach, Malibu Playhouse, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and ETC of Santa Barbara. Her directing credits include the theatres/production companies of Antaeus, Warriors For Peace, Son of Semele, LifeChild, Two Heads Are Better, and Santa Monica Playhouse. As an arts educator she has worked with/directed for LA’s Holocaust Museum, LGBT Center, Hoover High, New Village Girls Academy, Rancho San Antonio Boys Home, YWCA Girls’ Empowerment Program, and Homeboy Industries. She currently teaches acting at Berg Studios and at Hussian College In Studio here in L.A. She is also a jail chaplain with Prism Restorative Justice. Website: www.annnoble.com
