Michael Sturgis

Michael Sturgis is an LA-based actor, writer and improviser, and he serves as the Literary Manager for the Echo Theater Company. He received the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for originating the role of Francis in Poor Clare at the Echo. Other Echo credits include: Clarkston (LADCC nomination), Gloria (Stage Raw Award), Crabs in a Bucket, and Blueberry Toast (Stage Raw Award). He has also done work with A Noise Within, Pasadena Playhouse, Theatre of Note, and Hero Theatre. He improvises on a Harold team at the Upright Citizens Brigade. As a writer, his short film Every Other Week is a Vimeo Staff Pick and can be seen online. His TV credits include Room 104 with Mark Duplass (HBO), and Call Me Kat with Mayim Bialik (Hulu).
